Approaching problems in experimental ways
Registration Summer School is a project by Ross Bennett, Callum Copley, Myles Palmer & Andrew Thorpe.
I had the chance to participate to the school, which worked on a sign up basis and run over 3 days in August (19th – 21st) in Deptford, South London. The purpose was about adapting ideas and skills to fit purpose and function and surmising with a lecture series and an open exhibition of the weeks activities.
The event has been a forum for sharing ideas and skills between students and practitioners from across Europe on the theme of fear.
I had the chance to work together with the graphic artist and print maker Anthony Burrill, who encouraged us to do typographic experiments on the theme using chalk on a black wooden board.
Here are the pictures of the day, by Anthony Burrill- flickr.
