Hi, I’m Silvia Ballerini.

Most of the time I am a service designer playing with brand identities, user experience, interfaces and communication strategies. Sometimes I’m also an illustrator and amateur knitter.

After one amazing year in Hamburg I’m now living in Modena, working as Visual Designer at NiEW Design on many exciting projects involving Tetrapak, Siemens, Il Sole 24 Ore and other clients in the field of automation industry.

I contributed to the redesign of INDEED Innovation touchpoints, designed a font, showcased my publication on contemporary letterpress at Fahrenheit 39, a service design project on food waste at CUMULUS Design Exhibition and some packaging prototypes at Packplay Montreal.

I collaborated with many talented designers during intense years at the Milan Polytechnic and at the lovely workshop X.

Co-design sessions, user research, concept sketches, UI design are my daily bread.

You can check me on Linkedin or send me an email, but I would be very happy to grab a coffee together and talk about your idea.
